The story behind .... "Expect  a Miracle!" cards

My mother owned a new age book store in the 80’s...long before meditation and crystals were talked about by so many!

My mom had these cards made ... I’m assuming because she was an avid follower and teacher of “A Course in Miracles” (which by the way I now have my mom’s “ACIM” books that she marked up with highlights, notes and underlines...a true treasure!)  

She gave these cards out randomly and purposefully...to friends, family and strangers. Her hope was that others would see miracles and blessings every day...in all the good and sometimes difficult times, and in all the big and sometimes very small and simple things.

When my mom was diagnosed with cancer, the most amazing and miraculous thing happened!  Cards that were given out by my mom to others, suddenly fell back in her hands. You see, these little black and white, 2x3 pieces of white paper with writing on them, meant so much to the receivers of theses cards, that they held on to them for years and years and years. Then in return, providing a full circle of miracles, gave these cards back to my mom when she needed it most!  What a complete miracle and blessing for my mom...and she thought just that!

In the last days and weeks of my dear mom’s life, up until almost her last words spoken, she was continuing to see and feel all the LOVE and MIRACLES around her, even counting all the blessings she was receiving.

After my mom passed in 2013, I noticed she had half a box of the miracle cards on her desk. She was still giving them out, after all these decades. I knew right then and there that I was going to continue this tradition and help spread that “miracle love”!  I gave out the rest of her box and have since gotten many more boxes made.  I have given them out as she would have if she were still here. Surprisingly, I have had people request more cards as they pass them on to others as well. There is nothing more miraculous than that!  I know my mom continues to see and feel these miracles which fills me with so much GRATITUDE and LOVE....exactly what mom would have wanted.
